7 years have passed from Giulio Regeni's murder

Giulio Regeni was kidnapped on January 25, 2016 in Cairo, Egypt, and was subsequently brutally tortured to death.

It has been 7 years since Truth and Justice have been systematically and unjustly denied to Giulio’s family. Europe must fight alongside Paola Daffendi and Claudio Regeni on the quest for justice, in order to ensure that Giulio's murderers do not continue to live in impunity.

In the picture, many members of ProgressivA were asking for justice in the European parliament just a few years ago. We talked with an Italian MP, Panzeri, who was subsequently arrested for corruption during the infamous Qatar Gate. #qatargate #corruption

This is an example of how the people who had to represent Giulio’s family and millions of young Europeans who asked for justice failed to do so. We need decisive action by the European institutions, to avoid similar tragedies happening in the future. We will continue to fight for Justice, always on the side of #TruthForGiulio #VeritàperGiulio.
